They can be customized in any way you like and will come with Ability Points so that they’re not lagging behind your squads. Once you get them to High influence, you’ll start getting the option to do a Covert Action that will have you bringing back a Reaper, Skirmisher, or Templar. To get more of the new, special units that were added just for this expansion pack, you need to increase your influence with whatever faction you’d like a unit from.
You can get more of them to join your squads! Lucky for all of us, it doesn’t just end at one. After you start off with each of the XCOM 2: War of the Chosen factions, you might just fall in love with the Reapers, Skirmishers, and Templars that can be added to your team.
